Dr. Akhilesh Arora is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Delhi Technological University (erstwhile Delhi College of Engineering) Delhi since 2004. Prior to joining Delhi College of Engineering, he worked at College of Military Engineering, Pune in the capacity of Lecturer for two years. He has also served as Associate professor and Head of Mechanical and Automation Engineering Department at Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University of Women, Delhi during the period from 2012 to 2014. He obtained his Ph.D. and Master’s Degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi in the year 2010 and 1997 respectively. His research areas are Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Thermal Science and Engineering; Energy Conservation and Waste Heat Recovery. He has published number of research papers in International and national journals. Dr. Arora is an active member of ASHRAE and ISHRAE.
