Altaf Ahmad

ALTAF AHMAD – Assistant Professor at Hamdard University, New Delhi, India. Dr. Ahmad was awarded PhD (Botany) by Hamdard University, New Delhi, India. He worked out the biochemical basis of the role of sulphur nutrition in enhancing the content and quality of oil in the seeds of rapeseed-mustard and also identified two forms of nitrate reductase in leaves of mustard. Dr. Ahmad has been honoured with the INSA Medal for Young Scientist (2003), Prof. LSS Kumar Memorial Award (2003) of INSA, AAAS (Jr) Award (2003) and Young Scientist Award (2004) of CST, Uttar Pradesh, India. He has to his credit significant research publications and several edited volumes published by reputed publishers.
