Dr. Ambika Prasad Dash, FDP from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, is presently working as Sr. Faculty/Professor in the area of Finance & Strategy, in the Power Management Institute (PMI) of NTPC Ltd., a public sector giant in the field of power sector. Prior to joining NTPC, he was Prof & Head, Finance, National Institute of Cooperative Management, Pune.

He has around 20 years of teaching experience in MBA in the area of Finance and Strategy; Security Analysis and Portfolio Management; Mergers and Acquisitions; International Finance and Project Management. Recently the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) has awarded him Authorised Training Instructor in the area of “financial resources and procurement”. In addition, he has 10 years of experience in power sector. Apart from teaching at PMI, NTPC, he has been invited by prestigious business schools like Symbiosis Institute, Pune; Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Delhi; Management Development Institute (MDl), Gurgaon; Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Ghaziabad; and International Management Institute, New Delhi.

He got Best Faculty Award from Noida Management Association (NMA), in the year 2005.
