The first part contains the fundamentals of business management including management process and the second part deals with organizational behaviour. The theories in the book are supported by many examples from different business sectors in the Indian scenario. It is written in a simple, self-instructional style for easy understanding of the students. Every chapter begins with an introduction followed by learning objectives of that chapter and is followed by a summary and review questions to help students structure their learning. Karam Pal :- Dr. Karam Pal is MCom, PhD from Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak who has more than 17 years of experience in academics. He has published more than 70 research papers in journals and periodicals of repute; and 10 books besides attending and presenting papers in more than 45 international and national level conferences/seminars/workshops in the field of business management. His books on “Insurance Management”, “Management Process & Organizational Behaviour”, “Managerial Economics”, “Insurance- Fundamentals, Environment and Procedures” and “Foundations of Management” are elevated text books in the field and one more books on “EVA in Indian Corporates” , “The Management Teacher”, “Contemporary Researches in Business Management” and “Exploration of Business and Management Issues” are reference texts. He has successfully completed three Major Research Projects funded by the University Grants Commission, New Delhi and presently working on two more major research projects in the areas of Corporate Finance and Insurance duly financed by the University Grants Commission, New Delhi. His areas of specialization include General Management, Investment Analysis, Corporate Finance, Taxation, Managerial Economics, Banking and Insurance. He has been in administrative positions like Programme Chairperson, Head IPR Cell, Hostel Warden, Deputy Coordinator SAP, NCC Officer, etc at Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar. Presently, he is an Editor of ‘HSB Research Review’ a bi-annual refereed research journal of Haryana School of Business.
