He started his research career as JRF from G B Pant Institute of Himalayan Environment and Sustainable Development (an autonomous Institute of Ministry of Environment, Forest and Sustainable Development). He has completed R&D projects, published a book Environment and Ecology and more than ten research papers and articles in various reputed scientific journals. He has received many research awards, UGC fellowship, and a grant from National Science Academic United States to present research paper in Malaysia. An online course on Biodiversity Conservation and Conservation Skills has been developed by him for the Commonwealth of Learning (CoL).DEEPAK KUMAR :- Deepak Kumar is Senior Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Geology, D.B.S.
