The present book is designed for the course in Applied Mathematics to meet the requirements of the second year Diploma courses for all the engineering branches of different Technical Boards of Education in India. He obtained his Ph.D. in "Mechanics of Bio-fluids' from Dr. B R Ambedkar University, Agra in 1996. He has series of publications in reputed national and international journal s. He is on the editorial boards of International Journal of Mathematics: Trend and Technology and International Journal of computer Science and Business Informatics. Dr. Arora has  been invited to speak at prominent conferences and has also contributed towards research in the field of Applied Mathematics at various forum including Imperial College of London, United Kingdom; University of Arizona, United States of America, etc.
