Geometrical drawings play an important role in conveying the ideas of engineers, scientists and inventors.
In particular, its role is very important in technical drawings like of machines and their production procedure applications, civil engineering activities like construction of reservoirs, dams, roadways, structures, buildings, etc. and involvement in electrical engineering aspects like generators, electrical equipment design, etc.
This book undertakes "step by step understanding of the projection concepts of 2- and 3-dimensional objects, with diagrammatical explanations" object, with diagrammatical explanations. The contents are developed in transition from basics of simple constructions of plane figures to complexity of the remaining chapters (3-dimensional objects) including the generalized approaches without compromising the connectivity through the chapters.
A large number of diagrams for easy understanding of the changes and assumptions taken in projecting the object on to a plain paper are also provided.

Arun Vikram Kothapalli :- Arun Vikram Kothapalli obtained his graduation in Mechanical Engineering from Bapatla Engineering College, Nagarjuna University, Guntur and postgraduation in Mechanical Engineering with specialization CAD/CAM from Andhra University College of Engineering, Visakhapatnam. Presently, he is working as faculty in Department of Industrial Engineering, GITAM Institute of Technology, GITAM University, Visakhapatnam. He has experience of 5 years in field and 5 years in teaching. He has also published Fluid Mechanics and Machinery. His research interests include MEMS, CAD, engineering optimization, structural health monitoring, CFD, mechanical vibrations.Ratnam Chanamala :- Chanamala Ratnam obtained his BE (Mech.) and ME (Machine Design) from Andhra University College of Engineering, Visakhapatnam and Ph.D. from IIT-Madras. He is a fellow of Institution of Engineers and life member of Indian Society of Technical Education and Computer Society of India. Presently, he is Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. He has 28 years of experience I teaching and has wide experience of administration as Assistant Principal, A.U. College of Engineering, Regional Coordinator, EAMCET, and ECET (FDH) and also has wide exposure in conducting examination as Dean if Examinations, AUCE (A).
He has published around 20 papers in various international/national journals and conference. About 14 students are pursuing their doctorates under his guidance. He research interest includes stress Analysis, Mechanical Vibrations, CAD, Engineering Optimization, Structural Health Monitoring, etc. He is also a reviewer pf many international journals.Vasudeva Rao Pampana :- Vasudeva Rao Pampana obtained his B.Tech (Civil) from V.R.S.E. College, Vijayawada (Nagarjuna University) and M.Tech and Ph.D. (Geotechnical Engineering) from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad (Formerly, M.N. Regional Engineering College). He has 6 years of experience in teaching, 2 years of field work and 3 years of research. He has published papers in various international/national journals, conferences and symposia.
