Before that he was Associate Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Thapar University, Patiala. He obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Jodphur in 1991 and his M.E. in Machine Design and doctoral degree from IIT Roorkee in 1994 and 2001 respectively. His areas of interest include CAD, Finite Element Analysis, Mechanics of Composite Materials and Tribology.Suresh Verma :- Suresh Verma, Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, D.C.R. University of Science and Technology, Murthal, Sonepat, Haryana, obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Master's Degree with specialization in Mechanical Design from Regional Engineering College, Kurukshetra in 1996 and 1999 respectively.
