Jai Singh Gurjar :- completed his M.Sc. (Applied Mathematics) from Roorkee University (now Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, India) in 1969 and Ph.D. (Applied Mathematics) from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra (India) in 1976. He taught Mathematics at undergraduate and postgraduate level at S.A. Tech. Instt. Vidisha (M.P.) G.K. University, Haridwar, Uttarakhand; Roorkee University (IITR) and National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra. He was principal, Modern Institute of Engineering and Technology, (Ambala, Haryana) and Punjab College of Engineering and Technology, (Mohali, Punjab). Dr. Gurjar has published about 100 research papers in the field of queueing theory, reliability engineering, control and optimization theory. He is reviewer for several research journals on reliability and queueing theory. Dr. Gurjar is Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Mathematics and Systems Sciences. He has authored 14 books on mathematics, history, religion and biography, etc. A number of scholars have completed their M.Tech. and Ph.D. degrees under his guidance.
