Brahma Mishra :- : obtained his Master's and PhD. Degrees in Agricultural Chemistry in 1965 and 1970 respectively, from the Agra University. He joined the Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar as Assistant Professor in 1972. He was selected Associate Professor in 1977 and became Professor of Soil Science in 1987. He provided leadership as the Head of the Department of the superannuation. Thereafter, ICAR awarded him the Emeritus Scientist position for two years. He is credited with introduction of courses on fertilizer technology and management in the syllabus for undergraduate students of Agriculture and Postgraduate students of Agribusiness Management. He taught these courses with the Philippines and the Netherlands for advanced research in the area of soil fertility and fertilizer management. He has published more than 100 original research papers in reputed international and national journals. He presented his research findings in over 20 international conferences and over 70 national conferences. He is a recipient of ISAC-PPCL national award for outstanding research on rock phosphate.
